Product information
Carbon steel flat bars have rectangular or square cross sections. They are hot or cold rolled and available in different material grades that make them easy to form and machine, resist wear, and provide added strength and hardness.
Grade 1075 carbon steel flat bars contain a high amount of carbon but are softer and easier to form than grade 1095 carbon steel. With a high-yield strength, they return to their original shape after bending and are often manufactured into springs, blades, knives, locking pins, washers, antennas, and clamps. Grade 1075 carbon steel is also called blue tempered steel, spring steel, and high-carbon steel.
Flat steel, refers to 12-300mm wide, 3-60mm thick, rectangular section and slightly with a blunt edge of steel. Flat steel can be finished steel, can also be used as a blank for welding pipe and thin slab for rolling sheet. Main uses: flat steel as a finished material can be used for hoop iron, tools and mechanical parts, as building frame structure, escalator.
