Cold rolled steel is rolled at room temperature and then rolled again below its recrystallization temperature. This process enables better control over finished product shape, thickness, dimensions, and a more consistent finish.

It refers to the steel strip that is rolled directly into a certain thickness and rolled into a whole coil by a winding machine at normal temperature. Compared with the hot rolled coil, the surface of the cold rolled coil is bright and smooth, but it will produce more internal stress, and it is often annealed after cold rolling.
